Fund Filer and GASDS

Fund Filer has full functionality for handling claims under the Gift Aid Small Donations Scheme.

Donations are recorded from a specific page for this purpose, (recording GASDS), reached from the ‘donations’ section of Fund Filer.

This works in a very similar way to the other donations pages on Fund Filer, with fields on the left half for recording the attributes of the donation: date, amount, fund and whether the donation is associated with a community building.

The GASDS page

The right half features a table indicating how much has been claimed in the current and past two tax years. See keeping track of GASDS for more on how Fund Filer helps users keep track of GASDS.

A list beneath the main form indicates recent transactions.

Donations for non-taxpaying regular donors are also eligible for GASDS. This piece (non taxpaying regular donors) has more on this.

Fund Filer will not allow claims over the limits set by HMRC: £5,000 donation value since 06 April 2013.
